Cornestone Royal Antique
The Royal Antique has been designed together with Osvaldo di Dio, to take the standard Antique classic drive to a new level, adding some special features in order to let it be the all-in-one solution for the overdrive needs.
Let's have a closer look at the controls and operation modes:
The Royal Antique is a true bypass pedal, so in bypass mode, there's no signal loss nor any buffer applied.
When the "Bypass" footswitch is pressed, the signal enters the main circuit of the Royal Antique which is the same as the Antique and controlled by its standard controls Gain, Tone, Presence, Volume, Mids.
Here comes the interesting part.
The main question when dealing with an overdrive with boost is: where is the boost located, before or after the overdrive?
Some pedals have a switch which lets you choose this location to have a "pre-boost" or a "post-boost".
In the Royal Antique, we choose to have both.
So when you hit the boost footswitch, two different boosts come in at the same time, one before and one after the overdrive circuit, having each one its own independent gain control.
- The BOLD knob is the gain of the boost "before". Unity volume condition is when bold is at 0.
- The GAS knob is the gain of the boost "after". Unity volume condition is when the GAS is at noon. The GAS knob is also wired so that it acts as a master output volume of the boosted channel.
With these special boost controls, the Royal Antique could be thought as a "2 channel Antique", with independent gain and volume controls.
In case another boost is needed, there's the "Flame channel", which is exactly a Flame booster already embodied on the Royal Antique circuitry, and can be enabled by means of an external momentary footswitch, to instantly give up to 20dB.

The Antique is our take on those classic sounds which are notoriously recognized with the Tube Screamer. Don’t worry, the Antique is not a clone, but it definitely belongs to the Screamer-like family of overdrives. It has a well-defined mid-range tone, typically used to achieve the bluesy sounds of John Mayer or SRV, it's touch sensitive (a distinctive feature of all Cornerstone overdrives) and extremely versatile.
Looking at the controls, there are Volume, Gain, Tone and Presence.
The Gain control determines the amplification factor of the pedal, and thus the overall saturation and the Volume control acts as a master output control.
The Tone control manages the frequency content of the entire signal while the Presence control specifically shapes the high-end content. These two controls together with the mids switch, allow you to discover different sounds and colors ideally suited to the tone of many different guitars and amps.

The Sparkle overdrive has been designed out of a need for a super touch sensitive overdrive that could exactly follow the playing of the guitarist without having to turn any knob during songs. The design goal we wanted to achieve was to create an extremely easy to use yet still dramatic and versatile overdrive.
Looking at the controls, there are Volume, Gain, Bass and Treble.
The Volume control acts as a master output level control.
The Bass and Treble controls manage the frequency responses of the pedal. With both set at noon, the Sparkle creates a totally flat frequency response, covering the entire spectrum of guitar frequencies. When adjusting the tone controls, the sound always stays full and well-defined without ever getting muddy or gloomy. These tone controls let the Sparkle deliver the best tone quality with every guitar and amp.
The 9v/18v switch allows the guitarist to choose which voltage the circuit would be supplied with, still using the same external power supply. In 18v mode, the pedal offers a lot more headroom than the standard 9v, which is extremely useful for guitars with more powerful pickups.

The Zefiro Optical compressor has been designed for people who don’t like compressors, but instead want the tonal-shaping and sustaining behavior of a compressor. With this design purpose, the Zefiro features a very smooth and soft action, much like a studio compressor, together with an extreme tonal transparency. It is very useful for adding warmth and balance to the sound of electric, acoustic and bass guitars.
Looking at the controls, there are Comp, Volume, Tone and Sensitivity
The Volume control acts as a master output level control. The Tone knob is a tilt-eq control and changes both the bass and treble frequency response at the same time: the more treble the less bass and vice versa. This tilt-eq operation has a pivot frequency set at 1kHz, in the middle of the guitar audio frequency spectrum.
When the Volume and Tone controls are at noon, there’s no loss in volume and the eq is totally flat.
The Comp control determines the amount of compression, which can vary from very subtle up to quite squashing.
The Sensitivity control acts much like a threshold control; it changes the compression level and so manages the overall dynamic response, still keeping the same amount of compression.

Cornestone The Flame
The FlameXS has been designed out of a need for a stand-alone totally clean boost; its aim is to push up the signal volume without altering the original tone or adding any unwanted distortion.
Super simple to use, it has just one Gain knob. With the Gain knob at 0% there’s unity of volume, but the FlameXS is already warming up the sound. This is the reason why many guitarists like to use the FlameXS with the Gain knob at minimum. The more the Gain knob is turned clockwise the more the volume increases, up to 20dB of clean boost, without ever becoming saturated or overdriven.
Thanks to its micro size, the FlameXS can fit onto every pedalboard.
